  • The machine doesn't detect after thread break.
    • First check whether thread break detect is set as yes in the parameter setting.
    • In parameter setting thread break detect has been set as yes. But after thread break in all heads, the machine still doesn't detect.

Check the indicator LED of the main board:
      - D29, D30 for machine type 91
      - D16, D18 for machine type 95
      - L35, L36 for machine type 07
      - XJ, DXQD for machine type 08/18/28/X16/X26

When the machine is under normal running conditions, D30 of machine type 91,D18 of machine type 95, L35 of machine type 07, XJ of machine type 08/18/28/X16/X26 should be flashing, and D29 of machine type 91, D16 of machine type 95, L36 of machine type 07, DXQD of machine type 08/18/28/X16/X26 should be lightening. Otherwise there must be problem with the main board and the main board needs to be changed.
    • When there is no problem with the above indicators

Check the link between CZ018 (for 91/95)/ A8 plug (for 07)/ CZ0812 (for 08)/CZ5012 (for 18/28)/CZ669(for 158)/CZ609(for 108)/CZ709(for 118/128)/CZ7913(for X16/X26) and the thread detect board of the last machine head (3 position thread detect board is cZ1 and 2 position thread detect board is CZ011). If it's not linked, that means that signals are not transferred to the thread detect board and you should repair it to get link.
  • One machine head doesn't detect while others operate well.
    • There is problem with the thread detect board of the head which needs change.
    • Check the plug connection of CZ1 (3-position thread detect board) or CZ011 (2-position thread detect board).
  • Wrong alarm (indication lights of all the thread detect boards turn on when the machine runs for several circles.) The thread detect board is damaged. (the board number: DXYMB, EF104, EF119)
  • Thread breaks in one head and then all the thread detect board indication lights are on.
    • Check whether the 12V voltage is right. (When it is lower than 10V, the power needs to be changed.)
    • It can be caused by the thread detect board problem of one machine head. Remove the signal lines of the thread detect board one by one until you find the damaged board and change it.
    • Check according to I. 3 to see if the signal lines are in short circuit.
  • When one machine head repairs stitch after thread break, all the other indication lights are on.
    • Check the indication light D36 (for machine type 91)/D21 (for machine type 95)/L37 (for machine type 07)/FSW (for machine type 08/18/28). When the machine repairs stitch, these lights should be on. If not, the main board has problem and needs to be changed.
    • Check according to I.3 to see whether the signal lines are connected.
  • False alarm for bottom thread detect function If a certain needle of one head can't work and there is alarm, check first the small wheel of the needle position. If OK, pull off the connection cable between the head's bottom thread board and thread break detect board to see if there is still the false alarm. If no, the bottom thread detect board needs to be changed.

  • Examine and Remove Methods of Solenoid Electric Leakage (Voltage Measurement)

Solenoid electric leakage can easily be found in electric installation, it will cause the periphery boards destroyed directly with unknown reason. So, after electric installation, or at the time of on-site maintenance, the examination on solenoid electric leakage will be necessary.

How to judge the solenoid electric leakage
    • Static state measurement

After power on, take a multimeter (a digital multimeter will be better), make it at range of DC 20V, measure the voltage between 12V of switching power supply and the machine frame (earth). The value is UAB.

      • If UAB is less than DC 2V, then the solenoid has no electric leakage, and the machine solenoid installation is all right. (Note: Because the DC12V and the machine frame is not the same earth, even if the machine has no electricity, there still will be some stray voltage, but under 2V.)
      • If UAB is more than DC 2V, then it shows that the machine frame has DC voltage.
    • Dynamic state measurement
      • To measure the jump solenoid: pull the switch bar to stop when embroidering, measure as "Static state measurement" as above with multimeter at the moment of stop. If UAB is less than DC 2V, then the solenoid has no electric leakage, if more than DC 2V, it has.
      • To measure the thread-trimming and thread-holding solenoids: press "manual thread-trimming" key, measure as above when trimming thread.
    • Judge the range of solenoid electric leakage and the methods

When measuring the voltage between the 12V of switching power supply and the machine frame (UAB) with multimeter, you can examine the change of the value of UAB to judge the type of the electric leakage solenoid.
      • Pull out of the 24V plug, which is the jump solenoid's power supply, and the thread -catching, thread -trimming and thread-holding solenoids plugs from the power board. If UAB>2V, then shows the solenoid has no electric leakage. It can only be short circuit between the DC voltage and the machine frame because of the poor insulation of the wires. Please check the wire. You can find the electric leakage point by exclusion method. If the voltage UAB is less than 2V, then it is the electric leakage point.
      • After solving the electric leakage may be caused by the poor insulation, insert the 24V plug which provide power to the jump solenoid, if now UAB is still less than 2V, then it shows the head solenoid has no electric leakage. If UAB is more than 2V, then, the jump solenoid has electric leakage. Under this situation, you can use exclusion method to take off the jump solenoid one by one, at the same time to examine the change of the voltage. When one jump solenoid was removed, and UAB changed, then it shows that it's the very jump solenoid that has electric leakage, please replace it, and go on, until UAB is all right.
      • After doing all things as (2) said, please insert thread -catching, thread-trimming and thread holding solenoids plugs in power board, do as (2) said to go on to find the electric leaked solenoid.

When doing as above, please pay attention to the following:
        • Be sure to insert and pull the plug when power off.
        • Because it is live-wire work, so, when measuring the leaked solenoid, pay attention to safety to against the electric shock.
